  • We are continuing engagement with key Foundation partners including EDCTP, the Children’s Investment Fund, Susan Thompson Buffet, MasterCard, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundations.
 
  • Key upcoming proposals for Purpose Africa will leverage country network expansion with Foundation partnerships for Resource Mobilization

Welcome Awa We are delighted to welcome Awa Marie Coll-Seck to the Purpose Africa Governing Board. With her extensive experience as a renowned public health expert and former Minister of Health for Senegal and Minister of State to The President, and Board Member of multiple organizations, Awa brings invaluable insight and expertise to our team.   • Purpose Africa has been awarded an opportunity to develop a protocol for a Malaria trial with Esai as sponsor

Programming for Sustainable Capacity

Rwanda

Progress on the Investment Case awaits decision by the Rwanda National Ethics Committee while writing up of the document continues.

Ethiopia

Ethiopia is developing detailed plans for upcoming workshops aimed at setting stage for next phase of implementation.

Nigeria

Nigeria is working closely with the consulting firm for planning upcoming facility assessments.
